Who you root for depends on the person and where the show is. Of course their home towns are going to support their respective wrestlers. This all resembles the dynamic Bret Hart and the Hart Foundation had. They were booed in the states but beloved in Canada(and Great Britain I think). Utlimately, the fans decide if you're the Heel or Face of the feud.

No, from a story perspective the heel is definitely Drew McIntyre. I could explain it but I don’t think it really needs explanation. Heel and Face generally refers to the story and how a child or a non wrestling fan would view it. You like Drew because you’re into wrestling and you appreciate his work and his sacrifice and all of that so to you he’s the “good guy” here. But he’s not.
